Melvin "Man" Gene Roberts
Melvin Gene Roberts, 61, of Winchester, Virginia, died on November 5, 2013 in Winchester, VA.
He was born November 2, 1952 in Winchester, VA., the son of the late Walter Roberts, Sr. and Sally Jackson Roberts.
He is survived by five sisters, Helen Walker and Louise Yerby both of Winchester, VA, Shirley Henry of Martinsburg, WV., Melva J. Jackson of Ft. Washington, MD., and Charlotte Curry of Hagerstown, MD; one brother, David Roberts of Washington, DC; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
One sister; Delores Roberts; four brothers, James Roberts, Walter Roberts, Jr., Charles Roberts and Mark Roberts all preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, in Winchester, VA., with Pastor Gilbert M. Mack, Jr.
Family will receive friends Wednesday November 13, 2013 one hour before service at the Church.
Inurnment will be private at a later date.
