Mollie Kallen Hoover, 35, of Middletown, Virginia, passed away on August 31, 2026. She was born on September 17, 1990, and is survived by her parents, Kevin Hoover and Joy Anderson; her beloved stepfather, Stephen Anderson; her brother, Adam Hoover, and his children, Emily Sauer, Samuel Hoover, Hannah Hoover, and Michael Hoover; and her sisters, Jessica Anderson and Haillie Anderson.

She is also survived by her beloved daughters, Lillie Bauserman, Isabella Fletcher, and Kallianna Fletcher, who will forever carry her love and memory with them. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Omer and Louise Ritenour, and Wayne and Becky Hoover.

Mollie’s life held challenges, but it also held moments of connection, humor, and tenderness that those close to her will remember. She had a bright, charismatic spirit from childhood — a little girl who loved ballet and tap, backpacks and purses, butterflies, turquoise, and exploring her “Fern Gully.” She was strong-willed, kind-hearted, and known for giving freely to anyone in need. Those who knew her will remember her laughter, her creativity, and the way she felt things so very deeply.

Those challenges never stopped Mollie’s heart from being kind. She was the kind of person who would give anyone the shirt off her back if she could. Her family will remember her in the sounds of David Bowie’s Labyrinth, in the autumn when owls fill the silence among the trees, and in every mushroom and four-leaf clover—because no one could ever quite figure out how she always managed to find one.

Above all, Mollie was a mother. Her daughters were central to her story, and her love for them will remain an enduring part of the memories she leaves behind. Her family will ensure that Lillie, Isabella, and Kallianna grow up knowing her story, her love, and the good memories that shaped her life.

Her battle is over now, and she is at peace. Though she will be deeply missed, Mollie’s memory will live on through her children, family, and all those who loved her. Her family will honor her privately and carry her memory forward with love.
