Octavia Renzy Ross
Octavia R. Ross, 61, of Berryville, Virginia, died Friday August 31, 2007 at Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, Virginia.
Mrs. Ross was born October 12, 1945 in Warren County, Virginia the daughter of the late Relford Renzy and Octavia Patterson. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Berryville, Virginia. She also was a member of F.I.S.H., Ladies Auxiliary, C.A.T.S., and Home Extension Club.
She was married to Clyde Sherwood Ross who preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Pamela R. Banks and Deborah Ross both of Berryville, Virginia; three sons, Gary Ross of Millwood, Virginia David Ross of Berryville, Virginia and Anthony Ross of Bluemont, Virginia; four sisters, Maisy Williams of Philadelphia PA., Nancy Warren of Leesburg, VA, Dorothy Peyton of Woodstock, VA, and Donna Carter of Strasburg, VA.; five brothers, James Patterson of Mt. Jackson, VA, Rutherford Renzy of Stephens City, VA, Michael Renzy of Stephens City, VA, Roy Renzy of Winchester, VA, and Curtis Renzy of Stephens City, VA; and one grandson and on adopted granddaughter.
One sister, Louise Long preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 am on Tuesday September 4th 2007 at Zion Baptist Church in Berryville, Virginia with Rev. Delbert Hicks and Rev. Reginald Billy Williams officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour before service at the church.
Interment will be in Westview Cemetery in Upperville, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Roy Renzy, Donald James, Curtis Liggins, Rusty Powell, Michael Jewel, Mark Clemons, Swiss Lloyd, and Daniel Banks.
