Randolph Lloyd

Randolph Lloyd was born in Philmont, Virginia on December 10,1938 to Louvenia Moore Lloyd and Asbury Lloyd Sr. He was the 9th out of 10 children. On Tuesday November 1, 2022, he departed this life in Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton Virginia.

Randolph attended Banneker school in St. Louis, Va. He was a lover of sports especially the Baltimore Orioles and the Dallas Cowboys. He worked as a painter and also worked with horses.

On October 22,1960 he married Alice Rosina Turner.

Randolph leave to cherish his memory, his wife of 62 years his daughter Lisa Lloyd Tines one son-in- law Gene; 3 sister-laws Betty Edwards (Ed) of Culpepper, Va., Merley Robinson (Roger) of Leesburg Va., Pearl Lloyd of S.C.; one  brother-in-law, Lilburn  Butler of Culpeper, Va.; Two grandchildren, Marcus (Katrina), Kiera Tines Newton(Robert); 6 great grand-children, Anaya, Amina, Aria, Amari, A'Ezra and Amani;  2 Sisters, Gloria Corum of Manassas, Va., and Rose Lee Lloyd of Culpeper, Va.; 2 brothers Asbury Lloyd Jr. of  Purcellville Va. and Willard Lloyd of Winchester.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ida Mae Lloyd and Alvernia Tracy: 3 Brothers, Bruce Lloyd, Melvin Lloyd, Theadore Lloyd and his son Marvin Lloyd.

He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be 11:30 Friday November 11, 2022, at mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Marshall, VA., with Pastor Rodney Smith Officiating.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the church.  Interment will be in Westview Cemetery in Upperville, VA.

We will be following CDC guideline for Covid. Mask are required.
