Raymond Edward "Geronimo" Green

RAYMOND E. GREEN, also known as Geronimo was born September 3, 1942 to the late Havard and Sarah (Miller) Green in Pittsburgh PA. He departed this life suddenly on September 10, 2018.
Raymond received his education in the Pittsburgh public school system where he graduated from Westing House High school. He then started his job quest working for different companies where he became a forklift operator and did several other jobs and was well known and loved by all.

Raymond meet the love of his life Toni Green and was determine that she would be the one for him and pursued her until she finally gave in February 3, 1979 and they were together every since. They made a vow to God and each other officially on March 12,1988 and out of this union they had a host of beautiful children.

Raymond decided to take his family and relocate to Baltimore, md in 1990 where they stayed for 17yrs. Then finally settled in Winchester, VA in 2007 where he gave his life to Christ. He was Baptized and became a member of the Guilfield Baptist church in 2008.

Raymond was a strong believer in family first. He always made sure his wife and kids were well taken care of which includes spending quality time with them. He loved to play different card games, playing chess and checkers. Sitting back watching a good old karate movie or just having a conversation. When he wasn't wearing his famous beanie hats he would also enjoy a good head massage by his grandchildren. Raymond will be deeply missed!

Proceeded Raymond in death was his parents Havard & Sarah Green. His two siblings Havard Green and Erma Cook. His two sons Raymond and Eric Green.

Raymond leaves to cherish his memories his wife Toni Green, one brother Richard Green, Twelve children Sabrina, Roman, Darryl, Tiauntia, Brent, Barran, and Henrietta Green. Sharahn and Sarleah Green. Salice Haynes White, Charles Banks and JoAnne Thornton. Twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a host of other close relatives, church family, and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 12:00 pm at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA., with Dr. Rodell Hall officiating.

Visitation will be one hour before service.

Inurnment will be later.
