Robert P. Johnson
Robert P. Johnson, 90, of Winchester, Virginia died Wednesday February 20, 2008 at Heritage Rehab Center in Leesburg, Virginia.
Mr. Johnson was born October 2, 1917 the son of the late Noah Johnson and Maria Le Johnson. He was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church where he served as Chief Stewart for 20 years. He was a member of the King Hiram Masonic Lodge # 53, Mystic Shrine and a Prince Hall Affiliate. He worked at B& M Chevrolet for 36 years.
He was married to Bertha Myers Johnson who preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Marlene Ruffin of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Two sisters, Mary J. Adams and Emily Thomas; and two brothers, Roy Pollard and James Johnson all preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 12:00 pm Monday February 25, 2008 at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Winchester, Virginia with the Rev. Kevin E. Wilson officiating.
Family will receive friend Monday February 25, 2008 one hour before service at the church. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday February 24, 2008 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Burial will be in Orrick Cemetery in Winchester, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family
