Robert Smith Reynolds, 85, Berryville, Virginia died Friday May 15, 2009
At Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia.

Mr. Reynolds was born June 22, 1923 in Berryville, Virginia the son of the late John R. Reynolds and Anna Belle Robinson. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Berryville, Virginia. He was a former Trustee, and Treasurer and in charge of
the Kitchen Ministry at the church. He was the past Worshipful Master of the
Shenandoah Lodge # 325 FAM & AM. He also was a United States World War II Veteran.

He was married to Catherine Gillison Reynolds of Berryville, Virginia for 66 years.

He leaves to cherish his memorywith his wife; 7 daughters, Rita Carol Collins, Agatha B. Hargett and Donna R. Andrews, Sondra E. Jackson, all of Fort Washington. MD, Cecelia M. Bennett of Hyattsville, MD, R. Dianne Kilgore of Temple Hills, MD, and Mary K. Johnson of Columbus, Ohio; one sister Thomasine Maxwell of Berryville, Virginia; and 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Two daughters; Florence E. Jones and Judy C. Heard; one sister and 3 brothers preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life will be Friday May 22, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Zion Baptist Church in Berryville, Virginia Pastor Delbert Hicks officiating.

Family will received friends one hour before service at the church.

Friends may visit Thursday May 21, 2009, 4-6:00 pm at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Interment will be in Milton Valley Cemetery in Berryville, Virginia with Military honors afforded by Berryville VFW Post # 9760.
