RONALD LLOYD "RONNIE" "NEWT" BROWN

February 25, 1956 – November 18, 2022

Ronald Lloyd "Ronnie" "Noot" Brown, 66, of Martinsburg, WV formerly of Winchester, VA, gained his wings November 18, 2022, at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, WV after a hard fought and courageous battle with lung cancer.

Born February 25, 1956, in Winchester, VA to the late Mary Eliza Brown and Harry Randolph Brown.

Ronnie attended Handley High School in Winchester, VA. Ronnie was employed by various companies in Winchester:  Shockey's, O'Sullivan, and Rubbermaid from which he retired in 2020 just to name a few.

Ronnie was a very fun loving; kindhearted man loved by many and will be dearly missed by many more. One of his favorite pass times were playing poker and pitching horseshoes with his friends and family. Once Ronnie was your friend, he was a friend for life.

Ronnie married Sue Fales on February 14, 1989. Through their union they had two sons, Ronald Jr." RJ" and Christopher both of whom he loved dearly.

Ronnie is survived by Sue, his wife of 33 years:  two sons:  Ronald Jr. Brown-Stotler (Beth) of Berkeley Springs, WV and Christopher Brown-Stotler of Woodstock, VA. Four grandchildren:   Charlie Stotler, Neveah Morris, Keanna Breann and Aaliyah Morris. Three sisters:  Rosie Brown, Mary Brown, and Sharon Brown (Charles Boles) all of Winchester; three brothers, John Brown (Cathy), Carl Brown (Barbara) of Winchester, VA, and Clyde Brown (Vanessa) of Martinsburg, WV and many many loving nieces, nephews and cousins who adored him. Mother-in-law Mary Sue Dailey of Winchester, VA. Sisters-in-law, Linda Brown of Summit Point, WV and Rosetta Brown of Shepherdstown, WV, Rebecca King, and brother-in-law Elwood Dailey both of Winchester, VA.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, sisters:  Margaret, Mary Robinson and Evelyn Johnson, brothers: Charles Brown and Calvin Brown, niece Marcie Brown and nephews Michael Robinson and Keith Johnson and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 12:00 pm at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA.

Visitations will be one hour before service at the funeral home.

Inurnment will be private.
