Royley Alexander Malcolm

Royley Alexander Malcolm, 92, of Winchester, VA., died Sunday April 2, 2023, at his home in Winchester, VA.

Royley A. Malcolm was born September 14, 1930, in Jamacia, West Indies the son of the late Samuel Malcolm and Doris Dawkins. In 1975, Royley moved to Winter Haven, Florida, where he resided until 1983.  He then moved to Winchester, VA., where he resided until his demise in 2023.  Royley worked with Solenberger for five years, then shortly after he worked for Georges in Edinburg, VA for 25 years.

He retired at the age of 83. He enjoyed watching sports and his Christian programs. He belonged to Love and Hope Fellowship Church in Winchester, VA, He loved serving God. Royley always had kind words for everyone and always had a smile.

His favorite phrase was "The Good you do, Lives after you."

He is survived by his wife. Loretta Malcolm; three daughters, Arlene Griffiths, Mavarene Malcolm and Tanya Mair; a son, Royley Malcolm, Jr.; five granddaughters, Veronica Williams, Alicia Jones, Jaquita Jones,

Makayla Malcolm, and Kemeisha Grant; two great-granddaughters, Jovelle Kay Conbappa and Malaysia Rodriguez; four brothers, Cecil Malcolm, Vincent Malcolm, Leroy Malcolm and Henry Malcolm; three sisters, Ridley Malcolm, Arlene Malcolm, and Marlene Malcolm.

One sister Norma Malcolm preceded him in death.

A celebration of Life Service will be 12:00 pm, Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA.,

with Pastor Alvin Walker officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before service at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Good Hope Cemetery in Front Royal, VA.
