Sarah Catherine Gibert
Sarah C. Gibert, 88, of Winchester, Virginia died Tuesday January 12, 2009 at Evergreen Health and Rehab in Winchester, Virginia.
Mrs. Gibert was born in Rappahannock County on July 2, 1921 the daughter of the late Elenora Phillips Johnson. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Winchester, Virginia where she served on the usher board, church clerk, and Mother of the church.
She was married to Stanley Smith who preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory a sister Edna Birdsong of Martinsburg, West, Virginia.
One brother John R. Phillips preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday January 16, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at
Shiloh Baptist Church in Winchester, Virginia with Rev. James J. Johnson and Rev. Joe M. Fowkles officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour before service at the church.
Pallbearers will friends of the family
Burial will be in Charles "Buster" Jackson Community Cemetery in White Post, Virginia.
