Sarah Virginia Harris Mudd
Sarah Virginia Mudd, 83, of Winchester, Virginia died Wednesday September 24, 2008 in Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia.
Mrs. Mudd was born February 14, 1925 in Frederick County the daughter of the late Raymond Garfield Harris and Sarah Virginia Harris. She was a member of the St. Stephens C.M.E. Church.
She was married to Roger Moore Mudd who preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Virginia Ann Jenkins of Winchester, Virginia; three sons, Raymond "Eddie" Mudd of Winchester, Virginia, Roger Junior Mudd of Philadelphia, and James Moore Mudd of Bunkerhill, WV; one sister, Helen Johnson of Middleburg, Virginia; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Five brothers, Nelson Harris, Wilco Harris, Lester Harris, Albert Harris and Charles Harris all preceded her in death.
A celebration of life will be 12:00 pm on Wednesday October 1, 2008 at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, Virginia, with Rev. Bryan E. Edwards officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour before service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Orrick Cemetery in Winchester, Virginia.
