Shabaka M. (James R. Hughes, Jr.) Jeusi

Shabaka M. Jeusi, 62, of Manassas, VA, passed away Saturday June 4, 2011 at his home in Manassas, VA.

He was born in Ashville, VA, the son of the late James Russell Hughes, Sr. and Dorothy Hughes Travis. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran.

He was married to Linda Harris-Jeusi of Manassas, VA

He leaves to cherish his memory with his wife two daughters, Zakiya Collazo of Manassas, VA, and Leontta Warren of Canton, GA; two sons Sean Hughes of Clinton, MD and Kenyatta Jeusi of Dale City, VA; a sister, Sandra Hughes of Reston, VA; 10 grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

A sister, Iris Paige -Payne; two brothers, Avon Hughes and Gary Hughes all preceded him in death.

A celebration of life service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 11, 2011 at Cartwright funeral Home in Winchester, Virginia with Rev. Timothy Hughes officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour before service at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Milton Valley Cemetery in Berryville, Virginia with
Military Honors Afforded by Winchester VFW Post# 2123.
