Shawn Joseph Washington

Shawn Joseph Washington, 36, of Martinsburg, WV was called to his new home on Saturday May 14th 2016.

He was born February 2, 1980 at the old Winchester Memorial Hospital in Winchester, VA. He was the son of Shirley Roberts Henry and Timothy Washington.

He was married to Tracy Kay Spencer.

He leaves to cherish his memory with his mother, Shirley Henry and father Timothy (Barbara) Washington of Winchester, VA; stepfather, Donald Henry of Winchester, VA; one son, Jalin Pitts of Baton Rouge, LA; stepson, Tray Jackson of Charlestown, WV; a sister, Norrissa E. Brown of Martinsburg, WV; his half -brother, Lynn Walker (Vivian) of Winchester, VA; his second mother who he so dearly loved, Helen Roberts of Winchester, VA; stepsister, Deisie Washington; two stepbrothers, Bernard and Tyrone King all of Winchester, VA; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends

In the old days they said "It took a village to raise a child" so you know Shawn had many play brothers and sisters because all the village children
loved to spend time with Miss Shirley.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday May 24th, 2016 at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA.

Inurnment will be a later date.
