Shirley Mary Rosen
Shirley M. Rosen, 85, of Cross Junction, Virginia passed away Sunday May 16, 2010
in Winchester, Virginia.
Mrs. Rosen was born June 15, 1925 in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of William Spaeth and Josephine Glass Spaeth.
She was married to Oscar Rosen who preceded her in death.
Shirley was a devoted Wife and mother who loved her family, gardening, sewing and knitting. She loved living in Florida, and after her husband died she lived with her daughter Roberta, daughter Joan, and most recently son, David.
She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters; Phyllis Allen of Benson, North Carolina, Joan Moore of Mary Ester, Florida and Roberta Page of Wilson, Virginia; a son, David Rosen of Cross Junction, Virginia; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grand children.
One sister, Anne Taylor and two brothers, Roland Spaeth and William Spaeth all preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be June 6, 2010 in WilsonVirginia. Burial will be july 24, 2010 at Vista memorial Gardens, Hialeah Florida, Florida. Shirley will be burial next to her husband Oscar.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Winchester medical Center and the Blue Ridge Hospice for their tender care in this time of need.
