Superior Mother Fannie Lois Mason
Superior Mother Fannie Lois Mason, of 311 North Kent, Winchester, VA. departed this life on Friday, November 28, 2014, at the age of 94 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. She was born on December 5th 1919 in Capon Bridge, WV, to the late Harrison and Louvenia Washington.
Superior Mother Mason was a nurses' aide at the Winchester Memorial Hospital for a number of years. After retiring from there, she was a cook at the Freemont Street Nursery.
She was a member and Superior Mother of The Supreme Council of the House of Jacob where she traveled extensively as an Evangelist doing the work of the Lord.
Superior Mother Mason leaves to cherish her memory one son,
Moses W. Long Jr., of Petersburg, Va. and eight daughters; Faye Long Pearson, of Buffalo New York, Helen Long Davenport, of Winchester, Gladys Long Parker, of Coshocton, Ohio, Joanne Mason Thomas, of Boyce VA., Susan P. Mason, Kyria L. Mason, Deborah Mason Summers, and Rhoda C. Mason of Winchester, VA; Three sisters, Rosella Jackson of Norfolk, VA, Alstine Walker of Middletown, VA., and Louise Butler of Stephens City, VA.
She was preceded in death by one son, Wayne F. Mason and eight sisters, Virginia Crittenden, Mary Washington, (Hoppy), Lillian Prather, Ethel Doleman, Jessie Hamilton, Gladys Elliott, Mae Doleman, and Juanita Walker; and six brothers, Harrison (Sonny), Lewis Alan, Floyd (Bubby), John (Shorty), Pearl, and Herman Washington.
Celebration of life will be 11:00 am Saturday December 13, 2014 at the First Tabernacle at the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob in Coshocton, OH with Bishop J.M. Pearson and Bishop N. Mark Hubbard officiating
Interment will be in Machpelah Burial Acres in Coshocton, OH.
