Survilla M. Hale, 97, of Leesburg, VA, formerly of White Post, VA, passed away March 4, 2011 at her home in Leesburg, VA.
She was born January 1, 1914 in Clarke County, VA the daughter of the late William Hale and Maggie Turner Hale. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Leesburg, VA.
She was the last of her immediate family. She leaves to cherish her memory a godchild, Gwendolyn Whiting and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.
One sister, Elizabeth Porter; two brothers, Richard Hale and Rev. John Hale preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 am Wednesday March 9, 2011 at Providence Baptist Church in Leesburg, VA.,with Pastor Herbert Love.
Family will received friends one hour before service on Wednesday March 9, 2011 at the church.
Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery in White Post, VA
