Susie Herbert Patterson
Mrs. Susie Herbert Patterson, 92, of Berryville passed away at her niece's home in Sacramento, CA on February 24, 2011.
She was the widow of Roosevelt Patterson.
Mrs. Patterson was born June 11, 1918 in Millwood, VA. She was the daughter of late Patty Herbert, the niece of late Francis Herbert, the sister of late James Matthew Herbert, the cousin of late Georgia Herbert Jones and the aunt of late Eugene Alfonsa Herbert.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 1 niece, Barbara Jackson-Herbert Henderson of Sacramento, CA; 3 great-nephews, Eugene B. Herbert of Tacoma, WA, Eric P. Herbert of Denver, CO, Everett A. Herbert of Alameda, CA; 1 great-niece, Evelyn Mary Herbert of San Leandro, CA; 1 great-cousin, Audrey Cooke of Frederick, MD; 1 great great-nephew, Kenneth I. Cooke of Towson, MD; and 1 great great-niece Cynthia L. Cooke of Frederick, Maryland along with additional loving family members and friends.
For the viewing, family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA with Pastor Raymond Morton.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Friday, March 4, 2011 at St. Bridget of Ireland Catholic Church in Berryville, VA., with Father Stanley J. Krempa.
Interment will be in Love & Charity Cemetery in Millwood, VA.
Ministry of Comfort Entrusted to Cartwright Funeral Home of Winchester, Virginia.
