Thelma Justine Paige

Thelma Justine Paige, 88, of Berryville, VA passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.

She was born June 12, 1929 in Berryville, VA., the daughter of the late Randall Paige and Marie Jackson Paige. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board.

She is survived by her children; Phyllis Washington and her husband Webster; Diana Marshall; Ronnell Paige and his wife Madeline; Lynette Webster and her husband Kelly; along with her distinguished companion, Randolph Brooks; two sisters; Margareta Wilson; and Rosa Brown (Thomas); as well as 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her daughter; Shelia Paige, five brothers; William, Albert, Benjamin, Nelson and Matthew Paige. Six sisters; Helen Paige, Dorothy Williams, Mazie Harper, Gladys Paige Estella Gillison and Alice Paige.


A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday July16, 2017 at Johnson-Williams Middle School 200 Swan Ave in Berryville, VA.

Family will receive friends Sunday July 16, 2017 one hour before service at the school.

Interment will be at Milton Valley Cemetery in Berryville, VA.
