Thomas Eithell Turner, Jr.
Thomas E. Turner, Jr., 82, formerly of Upperville, VA., was called to eternal rest March 15, 2013 at a local nursing home in Winchester, VA.
He was born March 29, 1930, the son of the late Thomas Eithell Turner, Sr. and Marie Hughes Turner. He was a United States Marine veteran.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Pamela (Thomas) Harley of Oxon Hill, MD and Gloria Jean Bush (Milton) of Silver Spring, MD.; three sisters, Geneva (Rev. Odell) Moore of Middleburg, VA, Ann (Bruce) Cartwright of Winchester, VA and Merley (Roger) Robinson of Leesburg; a brother–in-law George G. Turner of Middleburg, VA; an aunt, Josephine Reid of Aldie, VA,; two grandchildren, three great-grandchild and other relatives and friends.
A brother, Channing R. Turner and a sister, Lula B. Turner both preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 12:00 p.m., Tuesday March 19, 2013 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church 1317 S. Pleasant Valley Road in Winchester, VA, with Pastor Gilbert M. Mack, Jr. officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour before service at the church.
Interment will be at West View Cemetery in Upperville, VA.
