Vendis "Bunny" Valentine Brown
Vendis V. Brown, 63, of Winchester, VA., departed this life on September 3, 2013 at Blue Ridge Hospice Center in Winchester, VA.
He was born on October 13, 1949, in Portland, Jamaica the son of the late Hylton Brown and Gerzel Radcliffe Constance of England. He was a member of the Jamaican Cricket Social Club of Washington, DC.
He is survived by one son, Kevin Brown of Jamaica; and a stepdaughter, Brenda Nowlin of Stephens City, VA; three sisters, Marcia Brown of Jamaica, Julia Brown of England, and Winsom Brown of America; one brother, Oliver Brown of Jamaica; and six grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday September 7, 2013 at Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA.
Family will receive friends Saturday September 7, 2013 one hour before service at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be at a later date in Jamaica.
