Violet Virginia Blowe Laws
Violet V. Laws, 69, of Winchester, VA., departed this life on September 28, 2013 at Hill Top House in Winchester, VA.
She was born August 3, 1944 in Winchester, VA the daughter of the late Raymond Blowe, Sr. and Viola Finley Blowe. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Berryville, VA.
She was married to John Henry Laws, Jr., who preceded her in death.
She is survived by a daughter, Carla Jean Laws, and a son, John Henry Laws III both of Winchester, VA.; two sisters, Deaconess Maxine Brown and Elderess Arlene Stephenson both of Winchester, VA.; one brother James "Jimmy" Howard Blowe, Sr.; 9 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leslie Blowe and Raymond Blowe, Jr.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday October 4, 2013 at Zion Baptist Church in Berryville, VA, with Pastor Delbert Hicks.
Family will receive friends Friday October 4, 2013 one hour before service at the Church in Berryville, VA.
Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester, VA.
Donation can be sent to the Zion Baptist Church Building Fund o/c Zion Baptist Church P.O. Box 102 Berryville, VA. 22611
