Webster Washington, Sr.

Webster Washington, Sr.,99, of 1006 Armistead Street in Winchester, VA., died Wednesday at his home.

Mr. Washington was born April 20, 1919, in Stone Bridge, which is in Clarke County, VA. He was the 4th son of the late David and Virgie Washington. He was a long standing member of
John Mann United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Pauline Evans Washington; son, Eugene Washington, and daughter, Virginia Anne Washington and Phyllis Washington Smith.; and his second wife, Mattie Shields Washington and her children, Shirley Snowden, Annie Shields and Osceola NewkirK.

Mr. Washington is survived by his son Webster Washington, Jr.(Phyllis) of Winchester, VA.; one daughter Karline Mason of Lanham, MD and a loving son-in-law Willard Smith, of Front Royal, VA.; 11 grandchildren
and a host of great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at John Mann United Methodist Church on  527

Van Fossen Street in Winchester, VA., with the Rev. Clyde Nelson officiating the service.

Family will receive friends on Saturday December 29, 2018 one hour before service at the church.

Interment will be in Orrick Cemetery in Winchester.
