William E. Beamer, Sr., 81, of Winchester, Virginia, died Tuesday January 15, 2008 at his home.

Mr. Beamer was born March 22, 1926 in Winchester, Virginia son of the late Virginia Monroe. He was a member of the VFW Post #6044, the Hound Dog Club, and the Tuesday Lunch Bunch. He was a War World II Army Veteran. He was a member of John Mann United Methodist Church in Winchester, Virginia.

He was married to Mary Wanzer Beamer of Winchester.

He leaves to cherish his memory with his wife; two sons, William E. Beamer, Jr. and Ray E. Beamer both of Winchester, Virginia; two daughters, Linda K. Beamer of Hampton, Virginia and Debra B. Washington of Winchester, Virginia; three grandsons, and two great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 am Saturday January 19, 2008 at John Mann United Methodist Church in Winchester, Virginia with Rev Carroll C. Carter officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour before service at the church.

Burial will be in Orrick Cemetery in Winchester, Virginia. Military Honors accorded by Winchester Post 2123.

Pallbearers will be Charles Butler, Trevor Brown, Randy Fishback, Charles Harris, Kermit Shields, and Clyde Williams.
