William Henry Brown, Jr.

William H. Brown, Jr., 81, of Winchester, VA, departed this life on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA.

Mr. Brown was born September 16, 1931 in Winchester, VA, the son of the late William H. Brown, Sr. and Minnie Green Brown. He was a United States Navy Veteran.

Bill married Inez Strother on September 23, 1973. Their marriage ended in divorce. However, they remained endearing friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving devoted daughter, Frances E. Whitaker of Washington DC; a sister-in-law, Fitzhugh C. Brown of Washington DC; two nieces Joyce Brenda Brown of Washington DC and Susan M. Brown of Colonial Beach, VA. His only dear aunt, Mrs. Rosetta Brown Clay of Berryville, VA, three cousins, Mrs. Rhoda E. McLeese and Mr. Nathaniel Mayberry both of Washington DC, Mrs. Anne Fletcher Walker of Alexandria VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Two brothers, Harry and Charles Brown preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday October 6, 2012 at Orrick Cemetery in Winchester, VA with Rev. Lorenzo D. Hill.
