William Dotson "Rooster" Carr
William Dotson Carr, 77, of Ransom, WV, passed away November 30, 2011 at his home.
He was born May 9, 1934 in Charles Town, WV, the son of the late Thomas Carley Carr
and Helen Gaskins Carr.
He was a member of the Savannah Praise Worship Center and Healing Center in Ransom, WV. He also was a United State Air Force Veteran.
He leaves to cherish his memory with his special friends, Teresa Cherry, David Curry, and Robert "Stuff" Thomas; two sons, Tyler Payton of Ransom, WV and Sterling Scott Payton of Charleston, WV; two daughters, Tracey Payton, of Upper Marlboro, MD and Novene King of Rodchester, NY;
6 grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 12:00 am Saturday December 3, 2011 at Kingdom Life Cathedral in Ransom, WV with Pastor Lawrence E. Wilson.
Family will receive friends one hour before service at the church.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Interment will be at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Martinsburg, WV.
With Military Honors Afforded by United States Air Force and Veterans Combined Honor Guard of Martinsburg, WV.
